Senior Hockey
At Waitakere Hockey we welcome senior players of all ages and abilities; we have a team to suit everyone from beginners through to experienced players. In 2024 we registered a record 8 senior teams in the Auckland Hockey competition:

- Division 3 Women A
- Division 3 Women B
- Division 1 Men
- Division 3 Men A
- Division 3 Men B
- Division 4 Men
A huge congratulations to our Division 3 Women A who took our the Championship and Division 3 Men B who won the Plate Final!
2025 Season
Trials for the 2024 season will commence on Saturday 16th February & Sunday 22nd February 2025. Trial times are as follows:
Division 3 Women - 9:00am
Division 2 Women and above - 10:15am
Division 3 Men and Division 4 Men - 11:30am
Division 2 Men and above - 12:45pm
Please register your intention to trial:
- New to Waitakere Hockey? Please enter your contact information and then under 'Choose Team' select 'Senior Registration/Trials'. It is free to trial, there will be no payment request.
- Existing or Returning to Waitakere Hockey? You will be directed to your Friendly Manager account. Look for the green 'Re-Register' button. 'Choose Team' select 'Senior Registrations/Trials'. It is free to trial, there will be no payment request.
We aim to make team announcements by the last week of February. Trainings will be starting from the first week of March and games are expected to start on the weekend of 12th/13th April.
Once you have been placed in a team an invoice for payment of fees will be issued. Payment of fees is required by 1st April. If you are unable to pay the fees in full by the due date please contact the Treasurer to make a payment arrangement.
2025 Season Fees
Fees for our 2024 season were $485. 2025 fees are still to be confirmed and will be announced shortly.
The club provides a uniform, which is returned at the end of the season. Players provide their own stick, shinguards and mouthguard and green socks. Socks are available to purchase from the club for $15.
